What data do we collect?

Nurture collects the following data:

  • Personal Phone Number
  • Phone contacts
  • Any notes made on phone contacts through our Nurture mobile app
  • Nurture score per phone contact (an internal number score calculated by the total number of times you communicate with that specific contact)
  • Metadata about our Nurture mobile app usage (features used, button presses, etc.)

If you use our Website to signup, we collect the following additional data:

  • Personal identification information (email address and additional details such as name if given)

How do we collect your data?

You directly provide Nurture with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

  • Use our Nurture mobile app.
  • Voluntarily register on our website via email.

How will we use your data?

Nurture collects your data so that we can:

  • Give you an individual place to see all your contacts and their different contact methods.
  • Provide you with smart reminders so that you make sure to reach out to contacts based on how often you want to contact them.
  • Provide you with a visual representation through the form of trees, of how much you reach out to your contacts.
  • Have a backup of your contacts, their Nurture scores and notes, in case the client-side data is lost (e.g. phone lost).
  • Better improve our feature set based on your usage.
  • Send you important information regarding the Nurture mobile app.

Nurture does not share your data with any 3rd party companies.

When Nurture processes your order, it may send your data to, and also use the resulting information from, credit reference agencies to prevent fraudulent purchases.

How do we store your data?

Nurture securely stores your data using Google Firebase services. Please see this Google Firebase privacy policy for further information on how data is processed by them.

Nurture will keep your data during continued use of our service. After 1 year of no use of our service, we will delete your data by thoroughly removing all database records linked individually to you.

What are your data protection rights?

Nurture would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:

The right to access – You have the right to request Nurture for copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.

The right to rectification – You have the right to request that Nurture correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request Nurture to complete the information you believe is incomplete.

The right to erasure – You have the right to request that Nurture erase your personal data.

The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that Nurture restrict the processing of your personal data.

The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to Nurture’s processing of your personal data.

The right to data portability – You have the right to request that Nurture transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you.
